Created in collaboration with French perfumer Benoist Lapouza, it reflects Hennessy’s eighth-generation legacy and the craftsmanship of cognac blending. The fragrance draws inspiration from “la part des anges” (the angels’ share), the evaporation of cognac during barrel aging seen as a silent offering to the gods. The composition mirrors the art of cognac making: just as a master blender carefully balances eaux-de-vie, this fragrance layers refined accords. It opens with bright citrus notes and a fresh icy accord, leading into a rich heart of cognac, cinnamon, and caramel. The base reveals depth and warmth through tonka bean, oak, sandalwood, cashmere wood, and myrrh, creating a smooth, long-lasting, and indulgent finish reminiscent of aged cognac.
